Life Cycle 6

Stuart Senior, Gleeds Main Board Director, will be participating in the University of Nottingham's Life Cycle 6 challenge to help beat Breast Cancer.

The team of cyclists will be pedalling over 1,400 miles to 4 compass points of mainland Britain to help fundraise over £1 million for Breast Cancer research at the University of Nottingham. Stuart will be joining the Lochs and Glens team on Friday 20th – Sunday 22nd May to cycle 200 miles from Inverness to Glasgow.

The University of Nottingham is home to the world's first blood test to detect lung cancer and the research platform is now targeting breast cancer. The £1 million target will enable the University of Nottingham researchers to:

  • detect cancer early
  • stop cancer from spreading
  • develop personalised treatment for cancer sufferers

Over the first 5 Nottingham Life Cycles, more than £1.8 million has been fundraised to support a range of causes. An extraordinary total only possible by the equally extraordinary support from so many.
