Gleeds Liverpool team cycle the Trans Pennine Trail
Employees in Gleeds’ Liverpool office have cycled a combined distance of over 300 miles from the company’s Manchester office through to Liverpool via the Trans Pennine Trail (TPT). The ride took place part of the Gleeds Global Challenge.
From Monday 19th to Friday 23rd September all 59 of Gleeds’ international offices took part in fundraising, volunteering and staff wellbeing activities.
In support of Gleeds’ wellbeing theme, cyclists set off from Gleeds’ Manchester office eventually joining the A56 at the end of Talbot Road, before picking up the TPT and dismounting at the business’ Liverpool office on Edmund Street.
In 2015 the business raised £242,661.72 in celebration of Gleeds’ 130 year anniversary. This year’s event focuses on building community - locally and with one another.
